The MLB season is starting today and fans will be excited to get back to a full, 162 game slate this season. Many cities will be allowing fans back in the ballpark, something that will be enjoyed by fans. Many teams will try and either continue the success from the truncated 2020 season or write it off as a fluky year. Stars such as Trevor Bauer, Yu Darvish, Francisco Lindor, Nolan Arenado and Blake Snell all moved to new teams in the offseason, which could produce major shakeups, especially in the NL.

#1: The Blue Jays Win The AL East

The Blue Jays made a major step forward last season, posting a winning record for the first time since 2016 and making the playoffs due to expanded format. While they did finish eight games off the eventual pennant-winning Rays, they were just one game back of the Yankees. The Blue Jays added George Springer and Marcus Semien to an already talented young roster. Pitching could be a bit of a concern for the Blue Jays, but with Hyun-jin Ryu, Steven Matz and Ross Stripling, they have the ability to succeed. Youngsters Bo Bichette and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. have the opportunity to dominate the left side of the infield. This will be a difficult task for the Blue Jays, as the Yankees and Rays will push them to the limit, but they have the talent to do so.
