1952-1956: Orange is the New White

In 1952, the Browns introduced the orange helmet with a single white stripe, as shown on the left. The team had also moved on from the block numbering in favor of solid, darker numbering. It was in these years as well that the Browns first introduced the beautiful orange alternate jerseys with brown numbers and orange socks.
