QB Brett Hundley vs TB (25th ranked against the QB) – Played well against Steelers tough defense last week as he went 245-for-3 touchdowns! Proving he can actually be a VERY competent QB in the NFL, I like him against a VERY non-competent defense this week.
Other QB’s I like – Case Keenum @ ATL, Carson Wentz @ SEA, Jared Goff @ARI
#1 QB: Phillip Rivers finally has healthy players around him! It is truly an exciting time for those who have watched this guy single-handedly battle with no names as his offensive line and WR’s and still produce as a fantasy player. After lighting up a struggling Cowboys’ defense last Thursday, Rivers and company get the Browns who have given up 22 passing touchdowns on the season (tied for most in NFL). Fire him up in all lineups.
RB Duke Johnson @ LAC (ranked 30 against RB) – Crow is dealing with a shoulder ailment. The Chargers have been a gaping hole for RB’s and Duke can take advantage of that as a dual threat. Trying to lock down on Corey Coleman and Josh Gordon, I can see the Chargers allowing Duke to have a nice fantasy day.
Other RB’s I like – Fournette vs IND (ranked 26 against RB), D. Lewis @ BUF (ranked 31 against RB ), D. Booker and K. Drake, J. Rodgers vs GB (ranked 22 against RB)
#1 RB: The 49’ers have been a disaster at stopping the run all season. They rank at the very bottom in the NFL in rushing yards and passing yards allowed running backs this season. You hope that your fantasy running backs have them coming up as we near the fantasy playoffs. Jordan Howard is the lucky draw for this week. He should feast against them on Sunday.
WR DeAndre Hopkins @ TEN (ranked 25 against WR) – 125 yards last week playing Baltimore!
WR Davante Adams vs TB (ranked 30 against WR) – Easy peasy decision. Bucs awful secondary and Adams now WR1. Had 9 targets playing the Steelers and went 5-for-82. Stack with Hundley.
TE Jared Cook v NYG (ranked 32 against TE) – No Crab, No Cooper means open season for Cook.
Other Receivers I like – Tyreek Hill @ NYJ (ranked 21 against WR), Dontrelle Inman vs SF (ranked 23 against WR)
#1 WR: Mike Evans hasn’t topped 100 yards since Week 12 of the 2016 regular season. I think that all changes Sunday with Jameis Winston back under center. The Bucs take on a Packers secondary that has struggled as a result of injuries and gives up the 4th most points to WRs. Evans is primed for a “this is why I’m elite” reminder game.
