Today marks the 75th anniversary of the D-Day invasion of Normandy. 150,000 young and brave Americans began the battle to liberate Germany from Nazi command.
Frankly, my problems seem extremely trivial compared to what these young men had to go through, many losing their lives for the sake of not only their country but also those that were suffering from the Nazis, including many Jews and family members of mine.
The world could be an entirely different place without the extremely valorous efforts of these people. It makes me proud to be an American and moreover, a Jewish American.
