Jake- There were a lot of winners and losers in this year’s NBA Trade Deadline. The 76ers were one of my personal losers. Coming into this season as the youngest team in the NBA at 23.4 years old, the 76ers were looked at as being the team in the biggest stage of rebuilding. Few thought they would make any trades, much less trading their cornerstone point guard Michael Carter-Williams.
In my eyes, the biggest winner is Oklahoma City. OKC gave up very little for an up-and-coming center (Enes Kanter), a decent backup point guard (D.J. Augustin). The Thunder were also able to pick up depth in the small forward position with acquiring Kyle Singler.
