With the beginning of training camp around the corner, welcome to CST’s newest round table on the upcoming Browns’ 2018 season with Browns writers Aaron Crowell, Menachem Ickovitz, Chris Kozimer, Christian Hinton and Kyle Shuki!
1) A lot of fans have been calling for Hue Jackson’s job, do you think Jackson will return as head coach in 2019, even with a positive season?
Ickovitz – I think Hue will be back as long as the team wins five games and is in the game for four or five more. It’s a tough schedule for the Browns this year, so setting a plateau of wins is a dangerous mindset.
Shuki – Of course he can return, but we are going to need to see a huge jump in improvement. The talent with (new Offensive Coordinator) Todd Haley will make him look much better, but we can’t see the mental mistakes we were accustomed to seeing.
Hinton – Yes, I think he is finally set up to succeed, which, hopefully, he will.
