Cameron Erving, Drafted Round 1 Pick 19 In The 2015 NFL Draft

By the time Cleveland drafted Cam Erving with the 19th pick in the 2015 draft, we had already seen Danny Shelton hug the stuffing out of NFL Comish Roger Goodell. Our hopes and spirits were characteristically high. After all, Erving collected a fair number of accolades in his time at Florida State, including a BCS Championship. Fast forward to 2016 our center, Alex Mack went to Atlanta during free agency and it was up to Erving to help hold the O-line at center. He proved ineffective and unprepared for his role. In 2017 the Browns traded Erving to Kansas City for a fifth-round pick.
