Steelers at Ravens: The top two teams in the AFC North and bitter rivals met in the “Charm City” of Baltimore, Maryland, on Sunday afternoon. The Ravens essentially controlled every statistical category against the Steelers. Despite this, Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was unable to get the job done in a big game. He never seemed to be on the same page as any of his wide receivers. Add all of this together and one gets the Steelers leaving M&T Bank Stadium with a record of 7-0.
Patriots at Bills: Well, it looks like we can just about officially say that New England’s iron fist dynasty is over. The Bills snapped a seven-game losing streak against New England and put their stamp on the AFC East. Buffalo’s offense looked like it was getting back on track, although it didn’t look completely in sync. The Patriots’ offense just looked anemic, but that’s because they have no weapons.
Rams at Dolphins: Tua Tagovailoa’s first career start didn’t quite go as planned for him. On his first pass attempt, the 2017/2018 Defensive Player of the Year Aaron Donald, came into his living room and gave Tua a big hug. Tua didn’t even throw for 100 yards; he only got 93. On the other side of the coin, Rams’ QB Jared Goff threw for 355 yards. Los Angeles completely outgained Miami by a margin of 471-145. That’s a difference of 326 yards. Despite those discrepancies, the Dolphins were somehow someway still able to pull off the victory, 28-17.
