The sixth week of the NFL season is in the book and there are some teams that look to be contenders and some teams which look to be pretenders.
The Jets continue to struggle as the Dolphins’ defense pitches a shutout. The Dolphins decided to put their rookie quarterback Tua Tagovailoa into the game in the last few minutes. On Tuesday afternoon, the Dolphins announced that Tua would be the starting quarterback moving forward.
It was supposed to be Green Bay’s Aaron Rodgers against Tampa Bay’s Tom Brady. However, the Buccaneers’ defense laughed at the hyped-up quarterback match. They intercepted Rodgers twice, one of which was returned for a pick-six! Green Bay’s offense was never able to find their rhythm, while Tom Brady was hooking up with his old buddy Gronk.
Kansas City decided that they didn’t really want to air it out against the Buffalo Bills. Instead, they decided to use the run game and it was enough to defeat the Buffalo Bills.
Tennessee remains undefeated thanks to a game-winning touchdown from their MVP running back Derrick Henry. Ryan Tannehill played decently for Tennessee, but he’s really going to have to bring his A-game because Pittsburgh’s defense has him in their sights.
Cardinals’ quarterback Kyler Murray only had to throw the ball nine times to beat the Cowboys. Dallas’s defense didn’t function properly with Andy Dalton under center.
