Cleveland Cavaliers: A Bounce Back And Looking For More

On Monday, March 1st, 2021, the Cleveland Cavaliers head to Houston to take on the Rockets at 9:00 p.m. After losing 10-straight games, the Cavs have now bounced back and are looking for their fourth-straight win. The Cavs recently played the Houston Rockets back on February 24th and defeated them with a final score of 112-96.

The way the Cavs have been playing as of recent, they are slowly starting to show hope again. They are currently on a three-game win streak and are looking to stay hot in the win column. PG Darius Garland has been struggling to put points on the board, but he did manage to score 25 points in the Cavs’ previous game against the Clippers. Even though Garland has been struggling, he can still put points up when needed.

Currently, looking at the standings, the Cavs are 3.5 games behind from obtaining the 8th seed playoff spot. With the second part of the season schedule being released, the Cavs have a chance to continue this bounce-back and make the playoffs at the end of the season. Even though this team has had its struggles, the Cavs continue to compete and fight to the end.

Overall, the Cavs have kept a lot of their games close throughout this season. When the Cavs were blown out this year, they managed to stay in the game until at least the first half. The game tonight against the Houston Rockets is an important one since it can help the Cavs move closer to that 8th seed playoff spot. The rest of this season is going to be interesting since anything can happen. This means, yes, the Cleveland Cavaliers can still make the playoffs.

To all of my Cleveland fans, Happy Ohio Day! Let’s hope the Cavs can take care of business tonight!
