The Cleveland Browns season ended in disappointing fashion Sunday with a 20-10 loss to the Baltimore Ravens. The team ended on a 5 game losing streak and enters another promising offseason. With question marks throughout the roster the team made substantial progress under first year head coach Mike Pettine. Under Pettine the Browns have laid the foundation for a winning culture with a solid core of veteran players including, Joe Thomas, Karlos Dansby, Donate Whitner and Joe Haden. Although the team ended on an awful 5 game losing streak the Browns improved there win total 3 games from last season under a rookie head coach.

There is reason for optimism in the direction the organization is heading now that there is stability in the General Manager and Head Coaching positions. Now that Browns have their Front office assembled they can continue to build on this season instead of facing another offseason with uncertainties.

I have enjoyed my first full year on the CST staff while providing the best Browns analysis of my capabilities. In the coming weeks I will have full offseason coverage, evaluating the current roster (player by player) and looking at potential free agent fits. Also I will be breaking down the 2015 Draft class evaluating potential picks for the Browns leading up to the draft in May. I hope you have enjoyed Browns weekly and I hope you look forward to my work on the offseason and draft. Go Browns!
