Cleveland Browns Make Recent Roster Cuts After Preseason Loss to Eagles

As recent as Monday afternoon, after a Browns preseason football loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, Cleveland Browns waived P Joseph Charlton, S Luther Kirk IV, T Wyatt Miller, CB Parnell Motley & TE Marcus Santos-Silva.
The current roster is now at 80 Cleveland Browns players, still far away from the final 53-man roster.
The Browns last preseason game is on August 27th vs the Chicago Bears, where the remaining 80 players showcase their talents to become a key members of the Cleveland Browns main roster and/or practice squad.
The final cuts will likely take place on the Sunday afternoon of August 28th after the Chicago Bears game, then onto the first game for the Cleveland Browns of the 2022 NFL regular season starting on September 11th vs the Carolina Panthers.
