I’ve stated much of my case for Gordon in my argument for Rivers. Austin Ekeler also has a broken hand and the Jets are 16th against the running back position in fantasy. I expect Melvin Gordon to take full advantage of this scenario and what’s sure to be a favorable game script written for him. Last week at KC, he took 19 carries for 78 yards and a score and added 6 catches for 91 yards. Look to see him get similar usage in rushing and pass catching in this matchup in New York.
