It feels good to be winning every single game. Not just winning, but completely dominating both sides of the ball for 48 minutes. The Cavaliers have won 16 out of their last 18 games, and because of that life is good just off the shores of Lake Erie. Led by LeBron James, these Cavaliers are ready to win a championship.

Now it wasn’t always easy.

The start of this season was an absolute roller coaster due to various factors. A new coach, a plethora of new players and soaring expectations made winning a tough task. The first step was trading away Dion Waiters for Iman Shumpert and J.R. Smith. Then, of course, dealing picks for big man Timofey Mozgov.

Shutting LeBron down for two weeks has turned back the clock for him. He looks faster and seems to have an added burst of energy that we weren’t seeing at the beginning of the season. Additionally, the growth and maturity of Kyrie Irving as a point guard has propelled this team forward. But that was a process as well.

So after four long and tiring seasons of losing, and another 40 game of trying to figure it out, finally, yes finally the Cavaliers are playing winning basketball.

So now what?

As fans, we should embrace it! Cherish every single second of every single game because we know all too well that everything can change in one ESPN prime time special.

To watch a game of basketball when your team plays so beautifully together is a special feeling. When everything clicks it becomes a synchronized unit of men creating for each other, playing amongst each other and winning with each other.

That’s what this great game is all about.

LeBron left us. And the King himself has clearly recognized just how hard and difficult a period that was for us Cavaliers fans, and well, really this city as a whole. You can obviously tell he is trying to make up for those four lost years. Lost years for us at least.

The anticipation will rise as the Cavaliers, barring some horrific meltdown, are finally going to make it to the playoffs! The first time since that bitter 2010 season where James seemingly quit on this entire city. And thankfully enough, that very man will lead the charge in an attempt to win us that coveted NBA Title, an honor this city and these fans deserve more than anything.

So let’s celebrate the good times, and look forward to many more great years of basketball here in Cleveland. Appreciate each game, cheer your heart out and be ready come playoff time.

Come on Cavs, gotta make it happen!
