Cavaliers at Wizards Preview
Cavaliers ( 32-22) @ Wizards (33-21)
Coming off the NBA’s longest All-Star break, the Cavaliers look to pick up where they ended last time they played the Wizards. The Wizards look to include new player Ramon Sessions into their game plan. The Cavaliers and Wizards match ups this year have featured each team being blown out. First game, the Cavaliers lost 91-78 and then won the next game against Washington 113-87. Both games that the Cavaliers and Wizards faced each other, shooting guard Bradley Beal was present for the Wizards. Losing Beal for Friday’s contest will prove to be detrimental for the Wiz. After tonight, the Cavaliers and Wizards will play each other in the season finale on April 15th.

Matchup to watch for:
Always looked at as the “Cavaliers Killer,” Paul Pierce has taken his talents to Washington D.C. this season. LeBron and Paul Pierce have battled each other throughout their careers. Going back to the classic playoff duel between James and Pierce in the 2008 Eastern Conference Semi Finals, specifically Game 7. The rivalry only strengthened with James going to Miami. The two have battled through the years, although the rivalry has died down a bit since LeBron has returned to Cleveland. Pierce, no matter the age, has always had a handle on the Cavaliers whenever they have played each other whether it be regular season play or postseason action as well. James should have the advantage with the match up considering many thinking that Pierce is now “washed up”. Nonetheless, this should be a fantastic game.

- Brendan Haywood: Day to Day

Wizards:
