Carlos Santana named A.L. Player Of The Week

Carlos Santana was named American League Player of the week this following week after going 15-27 (.555), while  clobbering 6 Home Runs (20) and driving in 10 runs (50). The First Baseman has walked 8 times in his last 10 games, which has been a bright spot for him all year long. Santana has gotten his average up to .232 on the year , which is 25 points higher than it was 10 days ago. It is easy to say that he is the hottest hitter in this Cleveland lineup, and hopefully he can carry his success on the road into this home stand, against Seattle, and Texas.

Jason Kipnis was named A.L Player of the week last week .
