Captains 2014 Roster Announced
The 2014 Lake County Captains opening day roster has been announced this weekend. There are many new faces to be seen at Classic Park this year, along with some familiar ones from last year.
Pitchers
Robbie Aviles*, Wander Bera, Mitch Brown*, Trevor Frank, Caleb Hamrick, Ben Heller, Dace Kime, Luis Lugo*, Kenny Matthews, Jordan Milbrath*, Alexis Paredes, Adam Plutko, and Matt Whitehouse.
Catchers
Ryan Battaglia, Richard Stock*, and 2013 Captains home run leader Eric Haase*.
Infielders
Claudio Bautista*, Leo Castillo*, Grant Fink, Dorssys Paulino*, James Roberts, and Nellie Rodriguez*.
Outfielders
Jorge Martinez*, Josh McAdams, Brian Ruiz, and Anthony Santander*.
The Captains will host the Akron Rubberducks in a 7-inning exhibition game on April 1st. They open the 2014 regular season on April 4th when Blue Jays affiliate Lansing Lugnuts come to Lake County.
