Rutgers traveled to Columbus, Ohio, to take on the red-hot Ohio State Buckeyes team. Rutgers has been a solid team this season, but they are no match for the Buckeyes. However, the game started with an unlikely turnover.

During a punt situation, Emeka Egbuka fumbled the ball. The turnover occurred in the first quarter. Rutgers had struggled during third down conversion s this season so far, but with excellent field position, they capitalized on the turnover and managed to score to get on the board, 7-0. Afterward, Ohio State never let Rutgers get the best of them or let them have any more confidence for the rest of the game.

Running back Miyan Williams scored three touchdowns in the first half. By the time it went to halftime, Buckeyes had gone up 28-7. Julian Fleming had a touchdown on an excellent wide-open play.

In the second half, the Buckeyes kept playing outstanding defense and offense. Willams ran the ball exceptionally well, finding wide-open lanes and giving Rutgers many problems on defense. Miyan Williams finished the game with five touchdowns and rushed for 189 yards.

Ohio State demolishes Rutgers, 49-10. Heisman Trophy favorite CJ Stroud completed 13 of 22 passes for 154 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. Ohio State has scored 49 or more points in nine straight games against Rutgers.

Ohio State will take on Michigan State. It’s their first road game of the season.
