Browns Visit Odell Beckham Jr.’s Private Workout

Hello, old friend.
After playing only a single season in Los Angeles with the Rams, Odell Beckham Jr. is set to become a free agent. OBJ has had two torn ACL injuries throughout his career. One with the Browns in 2020 and one during the Super Bowl as a member of said Rams.
Here is a list of all the teams that attended the workout.
– Giants
– Rams
-Patriots
– Panthers
– Cardinals
– 49ers
– Bills
– Chiefs
– Vikings
– Ravens
– AND THE BROWNS were there as well

Right now, OBJ is 30 years old and will be entering his 10th season. He started his career with the New York Giants. Then played ’19, parts of ’20 and ’21 with the Browns. The team subsequently released him and he ended up clearing waivers and signing with the Rams.
Yes, at one time OBJ was a very good receiver and could be a huge benefit to any team that was to sign him to a contract. Now, at the ripe age of 30 with two ACL tears under his belt; it’s not the same guy.
OBJ had over 1,000 yards receiving in five separate seasons. It’s hard to believe that would happen with any team he signed with in the coming years.
Shifting gears to the Browns and the team certainly needs help at the wide receiver position. Yes, there’s Amari Cooper, Donovan Peoples-Jones and such. However, the remaining names on the roster such as Anthony Schwartz and company aren’t too exciting and it’s a roster lacking that extra pop.

The questions with this workout remain:
Is Odell’s health good enough to not just workout but play a full NFL season?
Is Odell’s flamboyant personality worth signing him on the roster again?
Can the Browns work Odell’s potential contract with all the cap problems the team has right now?
It’s a lot to think about for a team that already has plenty on its plate. That’s for sure.
Now, could OBJ sign with the Browns and end up having a fantastic season with QB DeShaun Watson slinging passes his way for touchdowns aplenty? Yes, there is certainly that chance. Hence the reason the team visited the workout.
Easily, another team could sign OBJ and this won’t be an issue the Browns have to deal with this season. Now, it’s just a waiting game…
#ComeHomeOBJ and win us a Super Bowl. Pull a LeBron James just do it Browns style. Now that would be fun to watch.
