Browns Training Camp-What Am I Watching?
Wide Receiver. Before camp started, I wasn’t too concerned about this position, but after two days and two injuries now I’m a little concerned. Amari Cooper is the number one and Donovan Peoples-Jones is the number two. After that Felton would be the Browns’ number three. In 2021 when targeted Felton produced a 135 QBR and 11.2 yards per catch, but he’s still a running back. Even if three-round pick David Bell comes off the PUP list quickly, he’s still missing valuable practice time. As for Anthony Schwartz, let’s hope it’s not too serious. Jakeem Grant could take the Schwartz role in the offense, but he needs to concentrate on returns and an occasional trick play. If Schwartz misses significant time, this is the perfect opportunity for rookies Isaiah Weston and Michael Woods, II. Both have the potential to surprise. If not, GM Andrew Berry will be watching the waiver wire.
