Browns Training Camp-What Am I Watching?
Training camp 2022 is underway in Berea and I think every Browns fan is ready. I really enjoy watching camp videos in between refreshing Twitter every three seconds for Deshaun Watson news. Even though this Browns roster is loaded with talent, there are some camp battles to observe. Here’s what I’m watching, training camp edition.
Running Back. The Browns currently have one of the best running back duos in the NFL, so why am I watching? Because it’s a crowded room. After Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt, who makes the roster? Popular opinion is D’Ernest Johnson gets traded during training camp. I would agree with that opinion based on the drafting of Jerome Ford in the fifth round of the 2022 draft. I want to see if Ford can run block, pass protect and catch the ball out of the backfield. If he can, he’ll be the number three back. As for Demetric Felton, He’ll make the roster more as a wide receiver than a running back. Johnny Staton goes to the practice squad.
