Browns Trade Two Late Picks For Broncos Wide Receiver

It was announced today that the Cleveland Browns have made a trade with the Denver Broncos for wide receiver Jerry Jeudy. In exchange, the Dawgs are giving up a 2024 4th and 5th-round pick.

After the Jeudy trade, the Browns have five selections left in the 2024 NFL draft:
  • Second Round – #54.
  • Third Round – #85.
  • Fifth Round – #155.
  • Sixth Round – #205.
  • Seventh Round – #243.

Jeudy has played four seasons all with Denver (57 games), he is 24 years old and went to Alabama for college.

In last season alone, he played 16 games, caught 54 passes for 758 yards (long of 57) and two touchdowns. This was with Russell Wilson as the quarterback, keep in mind. The Broncos went 8-9 on the season and in 3rd for the AFC West.

The wideout is 6’1, 193 pounds.

As quoted by analyst Adam Schefter, “Though the Broncos and Browns have an agreement on the trade, it cannot be processed until the new league year begins Wednesday. Then Jerry Jeudy will join Amari Cooper and Elijah Moore as the newest Browns WR acquired via trade.”

This will certainly be a nice acquisition for a team that was in need of an additional target for whomever the starting quarterback is under center.

Total Stats: 57 games, 211 receptions for 3,053 yards (long of 92 yards) and 11 touchdowns.

Welcome to Cleveland, Jerry Jeudy. We are happy to have you on the squad! Now, let’s catch some balls!
