Browns Signing Former Ravens QB As Another Backup

The Browns have added yet another quarterback to the 2024 QB room with this one being former Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley. Huntley has spent the last four seasons as Lamar Jackson’s backup in Baltimore.

Huntley signed a 1-year deal with the Cleveland Browns making veterans minimum salary. The Browns now have 4 QB’s on the roster with now having Deshaun Watson, Jameis Winton, Dorian Thompson-Robinson, and now, Tyler Huntley.

Huntley has had nine total starts for the Ravens as he has had to fill in for an injured Lamar Jackson over the past four seasons. Huntley has helped take the Ravens to the playoffs once and has found ways to win some games for Baltimore having an overall record of three wins and seven losses.

Huntley will help bring depth to Cleveland as he will more than likely be the 3rd string QB for the 2024 season. After this signing, it looks like the Browns should not be done signing quarterbacks for this upcoming season.
