The Chiefs have no shortage of playmakers on offense. Mahomes seems to have success throwing to anyone wearing red and white. The biggest difference-making pass-catcher has to be TE Travis Kelce though. As a tight end, he finished second in the entire NFL in receiving yards with 1,416. Kelce is Mahomes’s go-to guy and he should be targeted often on Sunday. Karl Joseph, the Browns hard-hitting safety, will have to help limit Kelce’s production. Joseph normally helps load the box and stop the run, but that is not necessary against the Chiefs. Joseph will have to cover Kelce at moments in this game and he cannot allow easy completions. On the season, Joseph has seven pass break-ups. He will look to add to that total in this game.
