Browns’ Koramoah Sidelined By Covid As Team Prepares For Training Camp

In a sign of the times, the Cleveland Browns have once again been hit by the Covid 19 disease as one of its talented rookies, Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah,  who was drafted #52 in the 2nd round of this year’s draft was placed on the team’s Reserve/Covid 19 list.

The Browns are beginning their training camp on Tuesday and the rookies started reporting to the team this weekend. We do not know if Koramoah was vaccinated or not vaccinated and thus we don’t know how long he’ll be out of action? If he did get vaccinated, then he has to show two negative future Covid 19 tests within a 24-hour window, and then he could return soon. If he weren’t vaccinated, he would have to quarantine for 10 days before returning.

The NFL just released this week their latest rules on any future Covid 19 outbreaks for NFL teams. The gist of the new rules says that if a game is canceled because an NFL team has a Covid 19 outbreak, then that team will be forced to take the forfeit and the loss. Plus, all players from both teams involved with the cancelation will not receive their weekly NFL paychecks. Ouch!

So, Browns fans, let’s get ready for another unprecedented NFL season and cross both our fingers and toes!
