Browns rookie quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson got his first career victory against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday. He stepped up during crunch time when he completed all four of his passes on his final drive. Those good drives led the kicker Dustin Hopkins to hit the game-winning field goal to give the Browns a 13-10 win. Thompson-Robinson bounced back after his Week 4 performance which he threw three interceptions. He also added three rushes for 20 yards. With Watson out for the season, the Browns will need him to lead this team.

Thompson-Robinson was emotional after the game. He felt that he was letting the team down after making several mistakes, but the Browns believed in him. The fans are rooting for him. Can you imagine how it feels to have the fans chanting your invitations “D-T-R, D-T-R, D-T-R?” We are seeing a young man who has a chance to be the future quarterback of this team if he works hard and studies the game. He has shown some maturity early in his football career. Thompson-Robinson is a fifth-round pick out of UCLA.

Thompson-Robinson hasn’t thrown a touchdown this season yet, but it will come very soon and we hope it happens next week. In yesterday’s game, he had help from the great Browns defense led by Myles Garrett. This defense has been nothing short of spectacular.

This Browns team is becoming like the comeback kids or the late-game magic kids. The victory against the Steelers is the Browns’ fourth victory this season with a game-winning score coming in the final two minutes of regulation.

Browns improve to 7-3. They will travel to the Mile High City and take on the red-hot Denver Broncos, who have won four in a row. Browns will need to slow down Russell Wilson and their offense, especially in the second half. The defense must set the tone and never take the foot off the gas.
