While the position of offensive line may not be the most exciting or flashy like say the news of signing quarterback Deshaun Watson, it is the extremely important to the well-being of any great team. The Browns just signed center Ethan Pocic who formerly played with the Seattle Seahawks.

Via Yahoo Sports, “A second-round draft pick of the Seahawks in 2017, Pocic has started 40 of the 57 regular-season games in which he has appeared. The Louisiana State University product started 10 of his 13 games last season and ranked 15th among 39 qualifying centers graded by ProFootballFocus.com.”

The Browns lost center JC Tretter due to salary issues and had to release a center that was solid at the position since ’17 here in Cleveland.

Right now, it looks like center Nick Harris is going to be the starter for the Browns in the upcoming season with Pocic being a backup. However, that is not set in stone…

A team can never have enough offensive lineman and this signing just goes to show that the Browns are certainly aware of that fact.

Welcome to Cleveland, Ethan. Best of luck to you as a member of the Browns moving forward!
