Browns 1st and Goal Report: Keep Feeding Chubb The Ball And The Return Of Beckham Jr.

2nd Down: Justin Fields
While I believe the Browns should win this game because they are the better team, the Browns defense has me worried. The Browns defense hasn’t performed well in their first two games and have been burned more than once because they’ve gone up against running and scrambling types of quarterbacks in Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and Houston Texans quarterback Tyrod Taylor.
This will be Fields first start as an NFL quarterback. I certainly think they’ll be a ton of pressure felt by him Sunday. Like I’ve mentioned before, Buckeye quarterbacks have had a history of failure in the NFL. However, I don’t get that same vibe about Fields. He seems like an excellent leader and his skills are numerous.
I believe Fields will have some success in this game because the Browns defense still hasn’t shown they can stop teams when they need to. But I’m also banking on Fields making a couple mistakes, maybe a fumble or an interception, because of the big moment and because of things like the crazy Browns crowd. It’s a difficult place to play down at the stadium when the fans are rocking the place.
