The team drafted many new faces. From cornerback Martin Emerson to defensive tackle Perrion Winfrey it should be an exciting and fun night getting to see these guys play. I’m particularly interested in seeing how Emerson plays. I’ve seen a few reports of him getting into heated exchanges with other players during camp. It’s good to be a fiery player like Emerson. I’m hoping it is contagious this year for our team’s secondary.
Winfrey came out barking in his initial presser and now we’ll see if his bite is as good as his bark.
There will be other young players to watch for too including second-year players Greg Newsome II and Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah. Both had solid rookie seasons and both look to expand on their play and become even better.
