Unfortunately, WR Antonio Callaway has been suspended for the first four games of the season – vs. Titans, @ Jets, vs. Rams, @ Ravens.
Last season, Callaway (drafted in the 4th round) caught 43 balls for 586 yards and five TDs (13.6 average).
It’s not the first time he’s been in trouble, though. In college at the University of Florida, he was suspended an entire season for a sexual assault issue that was later dropped. Additionally, on August 5, 2018, Callaway was issued a citation in Strongsville, Ohio, for possession of marijuana and driving with a suspended license.
In the first preseason game against the Redskins, Callaway had three catches for 42 yards; he will be allowed to practice/play in the remainder of the preseason.
Let’s hope this suspension is the last of Callaway’s issues.
