Be Thankful For What You Have

The Cleveland Cavaliers are back in the NBA Playoffs for the first time since the 2009-2010 season. After four long, difficult years without LeBron James it is a great feeling to know the Wine and Gold will be back in the postseason. As we head down the stretch and into the first round, there will certainly be many challenges ahead.

It is quite possible the Cavs will see an experienced, playoff tested team like Indiana or Miami in the first round which will not be easy. It is going to be stressful, it is going to frustrating at times. There will be highs, there will be lows. We are going to be hanging on every possession and I’m sure we’ll be extremely angry at certain points. As we all know, there is nothing like the intensity that NBA playoff basketball brings.

Throughout the roller coaster ride that will be the postseason, we all need to remember what the last four years have been like. When LeBron takes a bad shot or makes a mistake, remember what it was like without him before you get too angry. While we all want to win more than anything, we also need to put things into perspective. We are back on the title hunt and regardless of what happens, it will be better than what we have went through the past four seasons.

Be thankful for what you have, be thankful the King decided to return home and be thankful we get playoff basketball again in Cleveland. It is a beautiful thing. Go Cavs!
