Asdrubal Cabrera Traded To the Nationals
Everyone knew this was coming, and as first reported by Paul Hoynes on Twitter, Asdrubal Cabrera has been traded to the Washington Nationals. It is reported the Indians will receive back Shortstop Zach Walters.
Walters is a Shortstop by trade but can play multiple positions. He is 24 years old, and stands 6’2 and is 210lbs. He throws Right-handed and is a Switch Hitter. Walters has a career minor league average of .280 and he has appeared in 32 games for the Nationals this season. We will have more on the impact of this trade and the future for Walters in the coming days.
