Another Test For The Cavs Today

The Cavs really played a great game against the Philadelphia 76ers on November 12. It was a 98-97 loss at The Wells Fargo Center and the Wine & Gold had a chance to win at the very end. Sadly, Kevin Love missed a three to go-ahead, even with a good look.

This afternoon, Philly comes to town at 7-5 compared to the Cavs with their 4-7 record. With the Browns off today because of playing on Thursday, the afternoon is free to watch the game at three.

Luckily, basketball players don’t wear helmets.

I like this young Cavaliers bunch led by coach John Beilein, despite the fact they aren’t going to compete for a championship this year.

Philly is a good test to compete against one of the better teams in the Eastern Conference. What is interesting is this game will be on the home floor instead of the matchup on the 12th in Philly.

Hopefully, the Cavs will play well and get their 5th win of the season. It wasn’t until December 5 of last year that the Cavs got their 5th win at 5-18.

Additionally, I would really like to see Darius Garland get more involved in the offense.

8.8 PPG, 33% shooting, 3.7 APG, 1.7 RPG.

The Cavs picked this young man with the 5th overall selection. That’s just not good enough for that spot. However, it’s a long season and things can change. I see the potential and I look forward to him improving.

Let’s get a win today and make up for the tough loss in Philly! Go Cavs!
