Already Depleted LB corp suffers TakiTaki Loss
Sione TakiTaki suffered a torn ACL and is out the rest of the season. Anthony Walker already has been out since the Steelers game leaving our LB corp at the next man up once again. With the loss of TakiTaki, JOK will need to increase his role. Jordan Kunasyk and Tony Fields will be the replacements for TakiTaki.
What does the loss of TakiTaki mean?
One – it means the already soft run defense suffers a blow.
Two – it drops the overall depth at linebacker. TakiTaki has been in nearly every play, 50 snaps the past three weeks. Tony Fields had an impact last week. This week he’ll be counted on for impact. All told the Browns are forced further into the depth chart to fill the void. And just that they did…
