The Cleveland Cavaliers have already played 22 regular-season games in the 2020-2021 NBA season. So far this season the Cavaliers have been competitive and have won more games than most people have expected thus far. As of right now, the Cavs sit at a 10-12 record and 3rd place in the Eastern Central Division. For the overall Eastern Conference rankings, the Cavs are the 7th seed.
This means that if the season ended today, our Cleveland Cavaliers would be in the playoffs!
Looking into the season thus far, the Cavs have been competitive and keeping most of their games close. There have been good games and there have also been some bad games. Even though this team has struggled a bit, the Cavs continue to prove that they have a bright future ahead.
PG Collin Sexton and PG Darius Garland have been absolute fire this season. These two have played well together so far and have developed great team chemistry. They are turning into young stars and I believe have a future in the NBA.
My overall thoughts are ecstatic for this Cavs team.
I really think the Cavs can snag a playoff spot this year if they continue to grind. This would be record-breaking for the Cavs to make the playoffs this year. If they do, this will be the first Cavaliers team to reach the playoffs without LeBron James since the 1997-1998 NBA Season.
I have said it before and I will say it again…
The Cleveland Cavaliers have a bright future ahead and if they secure a playoff spot at the end of the season, that is a win in my book. This has been the most competitive Cavs team without LeBron James since the 90s. Regardless of what happens, enjoy the ride Cavs fans!
Let’s go Cavs!!!
