It’s funny when the NFL schedule is released that one thing you hear is that this team or that team has the fifth easiest schedule or the third hardest one or something along those lines. I heard that the Cleveland Browns have the seventh easiest schedule. I’m not sure who exactly comes up with these numbers but I do know the Browns have to play 17 games and if you’re a fan of the team, you know that any game on the Cleveland schedule will be a chore to win. That’s just how this team has done things forever.
It won’t matter that the Browns have Deshaun Watson as their quarterback or Nick Chubb rushing the ball. It won’t matter that they traded for Za’Darius Smith or Elijah Moore. This team should win a lot of games this season, but the majority of those wins will be difficult or the team will make things more nerve-racking just because they are the Browns.
With that, let’s make some quick observations on each game of the new Browns season schedule with a final record guess at the end.
