5) Deshone Kizer is our QB.

This kid is talented. He was dropping dimes all night, including a 45-yard bomb on 4th-and-2. He was composed in the pocket the entire time he was out there with a QB rating of 114.1. He needs to be QB1 from here on out and get more snaps moving forward. I do not see how he does not start Game 2. His arm strength is incredible. This guy was making NFL-caliber throws all night long, looking like an NFL quarterback.

Brock Osweiler looked like he has the past two years. He was missing his targets throughout the entire quarter and sailed a ton of passes. He has horrendous accuracy on his deep balls and can barely complete check downs. Cody Kessler looked mediocre. The reason I say that Kizer needs to start next game is that I want to see him against some starters. He looked incredible tonight, but it was against two’s and three’s. I would love to see him throw those passes to Kenny Britt and Corey Coleman as opposed to Josh Boyce and Rannell Hall. All in all, he showed promise at the quarterback position, something we have not seen in a very long time. Lastly, shout out to Brian Kelly saying that Kizer should have stayed in school; he is proving that guy wrong.

There are a ton of things to improve on. They looked pretty good tonight but not great. Cleaning up some of the mistakes is a necessity to the growth of this football team.

Go Browns. 16-0. Super Bowl.
