1) Cam Erving is still a terrible professional football player.

We started this preseason off with Cam Erving taking the left tackle position with Joe Thomas not playing tonight and boy did he look awful. In the first offensive series, he had a false start and also a hold. The hold was a result of the defensive end putting him in a spin cycle. He is slow as hell and has zero feel for the game. Another negative from him tonight was a promising run where all he needed to do was pull and chip on the end. Well, he didn’t do that and it resulted in negative yardage. If I was Sashi Brown, he would be off the squad tomorrow. There is not a single positive that he has shown in the past two years.

He is awful.
