Hey, Cleveland, the wait is over. Let’s welcome former Buckeye, Denzel Ward, to the Cleveland Browns!
Ward is no stranger to Cleveland; this young man is from Macedonia, Ohio, where he was a force to be reckoned with as a Nordonia Knight. He played as a true freshman at Ohio State in 2015, taking part in 12 games. He played al; 13 games for the Buckeyes his sophomore season and won the starting position as a junior.
Ward has speed and agility on his side and the Browns can definitely use some stand-out talent in the secondary. I look for Ward to be a ball-hawk once he gets his bearings in the NFL. He has a background as a wide receiver in high school and a good set of hands.
