2019 Browns Draft Review

Sheldrick Redwine, S, Miami at 119

One of the best qualities that GM John Dorsey exhibits is his trust in “his guys.” This pick, of a Miami player, is a classic move by Alonzo Highsmith and Eliot Wolf, who have ties to Miami. Redwine fits a position that the Browns needed to target because of the loss of S Jabrill Peppers as part of the Odell Beckham Jr. trade. He can play the nickel, is physical and has good ball skills. He does have areas that he needs to improve like taking better angles on plays. Finally, get ready for all the bad puns about Kitchens, Baker and Redwine to start up once the season gets going.
