As we ring in the new year, lets take a look at and project the 2015 Cleveland Indians. Yesterday the starting rotation was analyzed and today we look at the Indians starting lineup. Last year the Indians lineup featured some incredible breakout players including Michael Brantley, Yan Gomes, and Lonnie Chisenhall (for the first half at least). The lineup also included an injured and unproductive Jason Kipnis and injury plagued players such as Michael Bourn, Nick Swisher, and David Murphy. This offseason, after adding Brandon Moss via trade during the December winter meetings, the 2015 Indians lineup became very intriguing. The Indians have a few bounce back candidates including Nick Swisher and Jason Kipnis and they have more power with the addition of Moss. The Indians were 15th in the league last season in batting average and 11th in the league in runs scored. The Indians are bringing back virtually the same lineup from a year ago, so will we see more, less, or equal production this upcoming year? As we enter 2015, lets take a look at the potential 2015 Cleveland Indians starting lineup.
