Indians in on Alex Rios
Wednesday: Jon Heyman of CBS Sports reports that the Indians are one of three teams tied to free agent OF’er Alex Rios. Rios had an average season with Texas last year hitting .280, but his home run total dropped off yet again as it has for the past two years. The Mariners, and Royals have also been linked to him. He would likely fit into a utility bench role if he were to agree to a contract with the Indians.
